Maynilad Water Services Inc. reminded their consumers to conserve and store water.
Maynilad spokesperson Grace Laxa said on Tuesday, July 18, that they still implement rotational water service interruptions even amidst the continuous rains.
Laxa explained that they still receive limited water supply, 40 cubic meters per second, from the National Water Resources Board (NWRB) since the water level in Angat Dam has yet to return to normal.
Since Monday, July 15, Maynilad implemented water service interruptions that last up to 19 hours. A complete list of the water service interruption in each area can be found in the Facebook page of the water concessionaire.
Laxa assured that Maynilad will resume normal water services as soon as NWRB brings back their original water allocation, 48 cubic meter per second, and the water level in Angat Dam returns to normal.
