Just months after announcing departure from their agency, Kpop boy group GOT7 surprised their fans with a music video for their new song “Encore.”
On Saturday, the septet-group released the heart-warming music video which contains clips of the seven members hanging out together, sharing laughs, taking photos, and drinking.
The music video marks the first content on the group’s new YouTube channel.
Upon release, the song became a trending topic on social media with ahghases all over the world expressing their emotions and words of gratitude to the group on Twitter.
This marks a new era for the boy band since they announced their departure from agency JYP Entertainment in January 2021.
At present, the group assured fans that they would not be disbanding even as they worked on separate projects.
Debuted in 2014, GOT7 is a septet group composed of JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom.
The K-pop group just released an album, “Breath of Love: Last Piece,” last November.
The group visited Manila last October 2019 as part of its “Keep Spinning World Tour.”
