Vice President Leni Robredo said that her office is willing to help the Duterte administration if fighting the CoVid19 pandemic.

“Gusto lang naming tumulong.  Ayaw naming mabigo ang gobyerno dahil kapag nabigo ang gobyerno, tayong mga Pilipino and magdurusa, tayong mga Pilipino ang magkakasakit at mamamatay.”

The Vice president in a Facebook video message on Monday said that the country is facing one of its biggest problems and that everyone is expected to pitch in and help.  VP Leni insisted that this isn’t the time for political bickering and or whether or not you’re for the administration or belonging to the opposition.

In line with this, the Vice President once again presented to the public her additional five-response commendation in fighting off CoVid19.

According to the Vice President, the administration should set a clear, measurable and time-based goals in curving the CoVid19 pandemic; it is also important to provide additional support to government units; we need a more comprehensive aid for small-time businesses; help those who lost their jobs to find a new job or new opportunities, and have a thorough planning for massive deployment of CoVid19 vaccine once it becomes available in the market.

Just last week, Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque challenged the Vice President to come up with a solution or plan sans the CoVid 19 vaccine and even said that if VP Leni succeeds with her plan, she could even be the President.

Vice President Leni continue to criticize the Duterte administration for its dependence on the vaccine; stating that there could be other alternatives in curving the spread of the virus.

However, Roque slammed the Vice President’s comments and stated that her insights were no longer new because the administration is currently implementing and exhausting all means to fight off the pandemic.
