The unveiling of the Madame Tussauds wax figure of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray has been postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Friday, during a Question and Answer with Madame Tussauds on Facebook, fans of the beauty queen all over the world had an opportunity to interview and interact with her.
During the segment, the 26-year-old singer said her wax figure was supposed to be unveiled around this time, but due to the unfortunate circumstances, it had to be postponed.
Catriona shared that she is hoping to launch the wax figure in Manila, Philippines and hopefully have the figure travel to Singapore, Thailand, and Hongkong.
It was January this year when Catriona revealed that she will be having her own Madame Tussauds wax figure displayed in Singapore.
Last May, Filipino fashion designer Mak Tumang showed the “exclusive replica” of Catriona Gray’s iconic lava gown which will be worn by her Madame Tussauds wax figure.
Gray is the third Filipino personality to be handpicked by Madame Tussauds following Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and boxing icon Senator Manny Pacquiao.
