The issue stemmed from Trillanes expose that allegedly, heads of the Philippine National Police invited the officials of the Army at the 6th Infantry Division headquarters the eve of Oplan Exodus in Mamasapano, Maguindanao.

Trillanes said that even before the issue was discussed during the executive session, he was already given permission by his source to reveal the said information to the public.

Meanwhile, the lawyer of the family of slain transgender, Jeffrey Laude denied claims that they were offered by the camp of US private marine Joseph Scott Pemberton to settle.

Allegedly, they were offered 21 million peso amicable settlement so that Pemberton’s case be lowered to Homicide instead of Murder.

However, according to Atty. Virgie Suarez, one of the private prosecutors of the Laude family, there was no such offer.    (with DZRH Rommel Fuertes)
