Thirdy Ravena undergoes surgery for injured finger

Filipino basketball player Thirdy Ravena underwent a surgery for an injured finger at the Ch┼źnichi Hospital in Nagoya, Japan.

Happy to announce that my operation was a success,” Ravena, who currently plays for San-En Neophoenix in the B.League of Japan, announced on Thursday, January 7, in an Instagram post.

The 24-year old player injured the index finger in his right hand during the 81-80 loss of Neophoenix against SunRockers Shibuya on Saturday, January 2.

Due to the injury, Neophoenix will no longer compete in the All-Star Game and Slam Dunk Contest of the B-League All-Star Festivities, scheduled on January 14-15.
