Roi Neeve Camanda representing the Panagbenga Festival has been crowned as the new Reyna ng Aliwan Festival 2019.
During her coronation night held at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Manila, Neeve said that “everything happens for a reason” and that a call she received from the Manila Broadcasting Company was a sign that she will forever be thankful for.
Camanda’s coronation stemmed after the Aliwan Fiesta committee decided to strip off its original winner, Nicole Borromeo of her title after she failed to fulfill her contract.
Passing over the crown to Neeve was 2018 Reyna ng Aliwan Chelsea Fernandez, who incidentally also just won Ms. Philippines Earth-Water 2019.
Also present during the special coronation for the new Reyna ng Aliwan 2019 were MBC President Ruperto S. Nicdao Jr., Eduardo G. Cordova, SVP-CFO and Ms. Carlea Miranda, MBC’s VP-Treasury.
