Tanza, Cavite placed under ‘extreme enhanced community quarantine’ after 2 residents died due to COVID-19

Another town in Cavite was placed under extreme enhanced community quarantine on Wednesday, March 25.

In a report, the town of Tanza was placed under the new protocol after two residents tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Under the said protocol, all major borders of the municipality will be shut. A curfew will also be observed in the area.

During this period, Barangay Home Qurantine Passes will be distributed. These passes were provided by their designated barangays in order to minimize the contact of the crowd and avoid an increased number of people in public places.

As of Wednesday, the Philippines has confirmed 636 COVID-19 cases, including 38 deaths and 26 recoveries.
