The police force on Tuesday night finally arrested the man behind the death of well-known Grab driver Gerardo Maquidato Jr.
The Pasay City Police were also able to locate Maquidato’s stolen silver Toyota Innova which was scrapped of its plate number and conduction sticker and bore a broken windshield due to the gunshot that penetrated and killed Maquidato.
Authorities recovered the vehicle at Sitio Orquico, Brgy. Matatalaib, Tarlac City on Tuesday night.
Prime suspect Narc Tulod Delemios, 25, was arrested with the virtue of an arrest warrant over a separate case.
A press briefing will be held at Southern Police District Headquarters later today.
Last week, Delemios’ live-in partner confessed her partner’s crime to the Pasay City Police Investigation and Detective Management and revealed that it was her phone that was used for the crime.
According to the Paranaque Regional Trial Court, Dellemios is also facing murder charges back in February 2015.
Grab Philippines recognized Maquidato for giving a free trip to a sick passenger, while it was raining.
