Super Junior set to release mini album in October

On Monday, South Korean idol group Super Junior announced on their various social media pages that they will be releasing a special mini album this coming October 08, 2018.

The boys have been hinting about a comeback since Kim Ryewook’s discharge from his two-year mandatory military service.

However, it has also been confirmed that Kim Heechul will not be participating in the mini album due to health reasons.

Titled “One More Time”, Super Junior’s mini album will focus on the latin-pop genre, just like their hit single “Lo Siento” from their 8th repackaged album “Replay.”

In recent interviews, Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae and Siwon have mentioned that they are bent on trying out different music genres, in order to reach a wider audience and extend their capabilities as singers, performers.

Based on the calendar of activities that they produced, the music video for one of the songs from the album will be released this September.  Super Junior promised to give their fans something to look forward to every month until December.

Incidentally, Super Junior’s sub-unit D&E are currently on their “Style” concert Japan Tour 2018.

They also took part in the closing ceremony of the 2018 Asian Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Super Junior are part of the second generation of Kpop idols who continue to break in the international market, and make sure that they are able to share the world stage with fellow Kpop acts.  The boys from SM Entertainment, who are now under their own label, Label SJ, breaks walls, language barriers and bridge in nations through their music.

In fact, aside from their busy schedule, the group was able to squeezed in time to meet Indonesian president Joko Widodo, and Siwon remains busy with his different advocates in partnership with Unicef.
