The province of Batangas is now under a state of calamity following the 5.5 magnitude quake Tuesday night.
Batangas Gov. Hermilando Mandanas, said the declaration is due to the damage caused by the strong turmoil in the mentioned province.
The Governor mentioned that among those that were damaged include the Taal Basilica and Provincial Capitol Building.
In an initial record, an estimate of Php18 million worth of properties was damaged by the quake.
The quake was also felt in Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna and Bulacan.
