South Korea’s most wanted arrested in Pampanga

A notorious South Korean mafia leader was arrested in Angeles City, Pampanga yesterday.

South Korea’s most wanted man, Cho Yang Eun, 63, was arrested by Bureau of Immigration agents, Justice Secretary Leila De Lima said.

The Korean Times said that Cho allegedly founded the Yangeuni Family in 1978 and once made it as the biggest and prominent gang in the country.

The Korean Embassy said that it has asked for BI’s help.

Cho’s arrested was based on the summary deportation order issued last year for being a fugitive, BI officer-in-charge Siegfred Mison said.
