Someday, motorists will learn to follow traffic rules in Manila even without traffic enforcers.
This is the promise of Manila Vice Mayor Isko Moreno after he was appointed by former president and now Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada as traffic czar of the city.
According to Moreno, he will make most of the close circuit cameras installed in the streets of Manila so it will not look only as display and useless.
In an interview with DZRH, Moreno said that he also plans to implement having high-tech device that will capture traffic violators without noticing.
Meanwhile, the Metro Manila Development Authority is still finding ways to lessen traffic in the streets of the whole Metro.
Also in an interview with DZRH, MMDA chairman Francis Tolentino said that he will launch provincial bus terminals to monitor traffic created by huge vehicles.
Tolentino also mentioned the causes that are stopping the bills filed by the agency to end traffic problems. (Kisses Jabson)
