A lawmaker, who’s also a former official of the PNP expressed his dismay over the MILF report on the Mamasapano tragedy.

According to ACT-CIS Partylist Rep. Samuel Pagdilao, the MILF wasted its chance to show to the public its capacity to be fair and objective on serious situations, just like the Mamasapano incident.

Pagdilao added that it’s obvious that the MILF couldn’t provide justice or even help in achieving justice.

They (MILF) failed to show its loyalty and instead chose to remain blind when it stated in its report that there’s nothing wrong with the brutal killing of the Fallen 44.

The solon went further by saying that the MILF acted wrongly and in the end loses the trust and confidence of the Filipino people.

Meanwhile, the House of Representatives should also have a copy of the MILF’s result on the Mamasapano incident.

According to Antipolo Rep. Romeo Acop, the lower house need the copy of the MILF report in their on-going investigation on the Mamasapano tragedy.  They will also be using this as one of their basis for what questions that needed to be asked.

The lawmakers believe that what’s inside the MILF report is the same as the line of defense of the rebel group.

Also, the House of Representatives is seeing some inconsistencies but would rather remain quiet for now.

Acop also criticized the MILF for the reason why they’re only submitting the report to the Senate because of Senator Bongbong Marcos’ condition that they will continue with the deliberation of the Bangsamoro Basic Law.

He mentioned that it is actually an insult to the government peace panel because the MILF chose the international monitoring team in Malaysia first in giving the result of their investigation instead of our national government.
