Seven senators explain absence in Senate Resolution No. 516


The seven Administration Senators clarified that it was not their intention to ignore Senate Resolution No. 516, which appeals that the government act and stop the killings that victimize minors.

Senate President Aquilino ‘Koko’ Pimentel III, Senate Majority leader Vicente ‘Tito’ Sotto III, Senator Richard Gordon, Sen. Cynthia Villar, Sen. Juan Miguel ‘Migz’ Zubiri, and Sen. Manny Pacquiao explained that the resolution did not reach their office and were upset by the criticisms they are receiving.

The seven senators are being bashed by netizens due to their signatures not appearing in the said resolution. Certain blogs are even asking netizens not to vote for them in the next elections and are making personal attacks.

Meanwhile, Sen. Villar revealed that Sen. Paolo ‘Bam’ Aquino IV and Sen. Risa Hontiveros are allegedly behind the plot to destroy the Senate majority. However, Sen. Villar clarified that she does not believe the said information.

Sen. Aquino responded to the allegations and insisted that they are all victims of fake news.
