The Senate immediately negated the statement of President Benigno Aquino III that the report of the Senate Committee on Public Order on the Mamasapano massacre was based on predictions only.

Senate Presdient Franklin Drilon said that though the Senate respects the President’s statement, the Senators did everything in their power to gather evidence during their five public hearings and five executive sessions.

According to Drilon, the public witnessed the Senate’s public hearings wherein their objective is for the truth to come out.

Prior to this, Senator Grace Poe, chairperson of the Senate Committee on Public Order is standing by the result of their investigation that PNOY has “full responsibility” of how Oplan Exodus transpired.
