Senate President Koko Pimentel is setting aside the proposed reshuffling of chairmanships in the different Senate committees.
This was Pimentel’s response amid Senator Anotnio Trillanes’ request to change Sen. Richard Gordon as chairman of the Blue Ribbon Committee.
Trillanes said that Senators are not given the chance to probe during committee hearings because Gordon hoards all the time.
Senator Panfilo Lacson walked out twice in a committee hearing because the committee is taking its time in its plan to investigate the Php6.4 billion worth of smuggled shabu from China.
Pimentel hopes that the issue will be resolved without the need to change the chairmanship of the Blue Ribbon Committee.
