The Senate supports the return of  ‘War against Drugs’, but insists that the Philippine National should change their Oplan Tokhang.

According to Senator Panfilo Lacson, Oplan Tokhang needs to be revised, since police abuse can clearly be seen.

In a hearing of the Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs, it was revealed that rogue police plant evidence in their targets.

Meanwhile in the hearing of the Committee of Justice and Human Rights led by Sen. Richard Gordon, Oplan Tokhang was proven to violate the human rights of the suspects.

Lacson also added that the results of the internal cleansing of the PNP must also show, for the Anti-drug war will not be successful, if there will still be police scalawags inside the force.
