Sen. Pacquiao supports GAB’s appeal to WBO to review “Battle in Brisbane”

Senator Manny Pacquiao is asking the World Boxing Organization to respond to the request of the Games and Amusement Board for a review of the result of the fight between him and undefeated Australian boxer Jeff Horn.

The G-A-B asked that the WBO look for possible errors regarding the decisions of the referee and judges during the fight of Pacquiao last July 2 in Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, Australia.

The G-A-B believes that the Pambansang Kamao should have received more points, however Horn was declared victorious.

Pacquiao clarified that he did not plan to complain however many are disappointed with the results of the fight.

The Filipino Champion insist that, as an athlete, he has moral obligation to forward sportsmanship, truth, and fairness in the results of any sports competition.
