Public Works Secretary Rogelio Singson told the Senate on Thursday that he is more than willing to quit his post if he is proven to have pocketed kickbacks from the construction of the alleged overpriced Iloilo Convention Center.
In the hearing of the Senate on the ICC project, Singson said he did not accept the position offered to him to collect kickbacks and enrich himself.
“I am ready to immediately resign from my post,” told the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee.
Singson is implicated in the alleged overpricing of the ICC.
Senate President Franklin Drilon initiated the ICC project.
