Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio on Wednesday confirmed that she is on leave from April 6-10, saying her flight to Singapore is for “personal health management.”
In a statement, the presidential daughter said she secured a travel authority from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
“All protocols for return to Davao City, including RT-PCR [COVID-19] testing and 14-day quarantine, have all been pre-arranged. Thank you,” Duterte-Carpio said.
In a report from RH Sherwin Alfaro, the presidential daughter quietly arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 from Davao on board a Philippine Airlines flight around 9 AM on Tuesday.
She then boarded a Singapore Airlines flight (SQ-917) around 2:15 PM together with one of her children, a nanny, and a member of the Presidential Security Group (PSG).
Last year, Duterte-Carpio also filed a seven-day medical leave from September 28 to October 5 to fly to Singapore.
