Rizal Memorial Complex in a sea of flood; PSC calls for other training grounds for athletes

The Philippine Sports Commission revived the suggestion to relocate the training grounds of Philippine athletes from the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila after being damaged due to flood.

PSC Chairman Richie Garcia said that based on the initial estimate, the rehabilitation of the Rizal Sports Complex facilities will take a huge amount of money.

According to Garcia, if RMSC will be sold, the PSC can build another training ground for athletes outside Metro Manila, which can also be outside the reach of typhoons.
