She is absolutely more than just her sense of humor. This is what Rica Herra – who is Cheryl Adami in real life — has proven when she shook the am airwaves as DZRH’s newest announcer. With her flamboyant voice and personality, Rica added life and color to the monotonous sound of the am radio. With her wisecracks and sardonic one-liners, she can already stir public opinion.
Rica earned a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication in De La Salle University. Pursuing further education, she took up law in Arellano University School of Law and is yet to take the bar. Proving her talent and intellect, she bagged the 2nd Place in a college competition called “Battle of the Reporters” and was cited by her university as an “Outstanding Thesis Awardee”.
Because of her versatility and potential, from being a radio DJ at YES! FM, she landed as the co-anchor of the veteran broadcaster Deo Macalma in DZRH’s program “Breaktime” which airs at 4 in the afternoon on weekdays. She and her partner DJ Missy Hista also join Deo in his morning program, Isyu, for the segment “Anggulo ng Balita”.
