Customs Commissioner Bert Lina expressed his desire to reshuffle some officials in their agency.
During a press conference at the Department of Justice, Lina said that rigodon in an agency after a change of leadership is normal.
According to Lina, he hopes that people who will be affected by the reshuffling shouldn’t take it personally.
The newly appointed BoC Commissioner added that he will continue with the reforms of resigned Customs Commissioner John Philip Sevilla.
Lina is happy that there’s a 24 percent increase on the non-oil collection under the leadership of Sevilla and his target now is to surpass this number.
He’s making an appeal to the members of media to help the Bureau of Customs in implementing its reforms. (with DZRH Boy Gonzales)
