Two-time ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) Local Most Valuable Player (MVP) Bobby Ray Parks Jr. will be taking his act to the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL).
According to reports, coach Mac Cuan of the Mandaluyong El Tigre confirmed that Parks will be playing for his team at the second MPBL conference, the Datu Cup.
Other than the two-time ABL Local MVP, El Tigre will also be getting the services of Alab Pilipinas players Lawrence Domingo, JR Alabanza, and Oping Sumalinog.
More than 20 teams from all over the Philippines are expected to join the Datu Cup which will start on June 12.
During the previous season of the ABL, Parks averaged 15.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in order to lead Alab in winning the championship of the inter-country basketball league.
The MPBL just started last January with 10 teams participating in the league’s first conference, the Anta-Rajah Cup.
