The popular Reno brand liver spread is now back in the market after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved its product registration.

In a statement on Friday, FDA chief Rolando Domingo said the company has already secured a certificate of product registration (CPR).

On September 16, the FDA warned the public against buying  Reno liver spread and other food supplements as its maker failed to register its product.

The FDA warned establishments from distributing, advertising, or selling the food products and supplements until a registration certificate is issued accordingly.
