The remains of two Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), who died due to a hit and run incident in Jubail, Saudi Arabia last March 4, arrived in the country this Tuesday.

The bodies of OFWs’ Mark Agdan and Joel Banhaon were flown to the country through a Philippine Airlines flight.

The families of Agdan and Banhaon were emotional when they saw the remains of the OFWs at the cargo area of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2.

Meanwhile, Arnel Ignacio, deputy administrator of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, promised to provide assistance to grieving families, who seek justice for the death of the two OFWs.

Ignacio is also set to fly to the Middle East on April 6 in order to seek updates regarding the hit and run incident involving Agdan and Banhaon.

The remains of Agdan will be brought home to Catimonan, Quezon Province, while the body of Banhaon will be brought home to Binan, Laguna.
