Public school students will be having make-up classes due to the long holidays caused by the 31st Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summit.
The Department of Education ordered the make-up classes in order to complete the school days for school year 2017-2018.
However, DepEd Usec. Tonisito Umali clarified that it is the discretion of the schools on how to make adjustments for the make-up classes.
Umali said that teachers could have classes during Saturdays or lengthen the regular school hours.
