President Rodrigo Duterte has sent the United States a copy of the furnished list of the names of drug personalities who continue to operate and traffic drugs in the country despite the administration’s stern campaign against it.
The President made the revelation on Thursday following the US Intelligence Community’s Worldwide Threat Assessment report which labeled President Duterte as a ‘threat to democracy’ due to his bloody war on illicit drugs.
According to the President, included in the list is discharged Iloilo Mayor Jed Mabilog, who fled the country after being repeatedly tagged by the President as a narco-politician.
Mabilog left the country in the middle 2017 and has to yet to return to the Philippines due to medical reasons and threats to his life and security.
Duterte noted the US seems to have turned a blind eye even after he sent the narco-list that has infested the Philippines’ political arena.
The President also took jabs against the US for calling him out for the alleged human rights violations he conducted as the government forges forth with its anti-drugs campaign that has reportedly killed over 3,800 people.
