Pope Francis appealed to His fellow members of the Catholic Church to refrain from being extravagant but become the way to achieve balance in society.

However, His Holiness Homily started very lightly when the Pope was supposedly just mentioning a part of the Gospel but was caught by surprise when the crowd answered back.  He mentioned “Do you love me?” and the audience immediately answered “yes.”  He then smiled and said, “Thank you very much.”

But the Pope became serious when He clarified that it wasn’t Him asking that question to the crown present during the mass but it was the Lord asking His people.

The Pope then challenged the disciples of the Catholic Church to fulfill their mission to spread love, mercy, and compassion by starting within themselves.

Pope Francis insisted that they can only do this if they turn their backs on living a lavish lifestyle and instead be one with the poor people.

The Pope encouraged the leaders of the Church to fight for their rights in society.
