A utility worker of the Philippine National Police (PNP) died a few months after he received the anti-dengue vaccine, Dengvaxia.

According to the PNP General Hospital (PNP-GH), the 20-year-old utility worker was given the shot in December last year in Camp Crame. A few days later he spoke of feeling muscle pain and sore throat.

The unnamed PNP worker, however, did not disclose that he had pneumonia the time he had permitted officials to give him the shot.

Investigations are still ongoing to see that if there is a direct link between the worker’s death and the supposed risky vaccine Dengvaxia.

The PNP worker worked as a utility man at the facility for half a year.
