The Philippine National Police is on full alert for the 30th Association of South East Asian Nations Summit this week.
During the flag ceremony of the PNP on Monday, Police Chief Director General Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa declared that the alert level will be increased in order to ensure the security for the ASEAN Summit.
According to Dela Rosa, the police will remain on full alert until the end of the ASEAN Summit.
The chief of PNP also asked police personnel to monitor all activities related to the ASEAN Summit that will happen at different parts of Metro Manila.
Dela Rosa hopes that police will achieve zero incident during the ASEAN Summit and related meetings, which will begin this April 26 and will last until April.
