At least 26,000 police will be deployed during the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to be held in PICC, Pasay City next week.
National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Chief Director Oscar Albayalde, said the main mission of deployment is to ensure the safety of 10 heads of state attending the meeting from April 24 until 29, 2017.
Despite of this, the official assured that there is no security threat monitored for the upcoming ASEAN Summit in the country.
