President Benigno Aquino III immediately slammed Vice President Jejomar Binay’s wish that the President will support his Presidential bid in 2016.
During a press conference in Iloilo City today, the President said that how can he give his support to Binay when the latter isn’t even asking for his blessing in the first place.
PNOY added that it would be difficult for him to support a candidate who didn’t even join his party, not even once.
President Aquino said that it would be a long shot for him to endorse the Vice President.
In an interview a few days ago, Vice President Binay said that he’s still hoping that the President will give him his support, just like what he did during the 2010 elections.
There have been rumors before that even though PNOY and Binay have different running mates, they still managed to support each other in the said elections. (with DZRH Rita Salonga)
