The Philippine Football Federation is ready to parade the Philippine football team in the Southeast Asian Games in Myanmar in December despite the shortage of funds.
The Philippine Olympic Committee and Philippine Sports Commission have stated that there is a shortage of funds, meaning that the football squad cannot play in the Sea Games.
Dan Palami, chairman of the PFF national teams committee said that if the POC and PSC have no budget for the PHL team, the committee will find ways to fund the Azkals in the said competition.
Palami said that with the help of the private sector, the national football team is determined to give their best to honor the country when the Sea Games kick off on December 11 to 22. (Rommel Fuertes)
