PCG: More than 150 passengers remain stranded at ports in the Philippines

152 passengers remain stranded at ports in the Bicol and Southern Tagalog region.

Based on the report of the Philippine Coast Guard as of 12:00PM, August 14, there are 122 passengers stranded at Pasacao Port in Camarines Sur, and 30 passengers stranded at Calatagan Port in Batangas.

While, a total of six vessel and four motorbancas are stranded at ports in Batangas, Oriental Mindoro, and Occidental Mindoro.

As of 5:00PM, August 14, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned of strong to gale force winds in the morthern and western Seabords of Northern Luzon and the western seaboard of Central Luzon.

PAGASA has advised fishing and other small seacrafts in the said areas to not venture out into the sea, while large sea vessels are told to be alert against big waves.
