NCRPO lauches probe vs Pasay police on possible oversight on hotel robbery incident

The National Capital Region Police Office is investigating the possible oversight of the Pasay City on the holdnapping – robbery incident at a hotel in F.B. Harrison St., Pasay City on Jan. 2.

During a news briefing in Camp Crame, C/Insp. Kimberly Molita, spokesperson of the NCRPO, P/Dir. Oscar Albayalde seeks to know the activities of the police when the crime was being committed at Mabuhay Manor Hotel.

Albayalde had previously ordered the full deployment of the police even during the holidays.

Molitas said that the incident at Mabuhay Manor Hotel is their first robbery incident for 2018.

More than Php 4 million worth of cash and gadgets were seized by the four armed suspects, who entered the establishment.

The crime that happened at 3:00AM was caught by a closed-circuit television camera.

Investigators are also looking into the possibility that some of the hotel’s staff are accomplices of the suspects.
