Reports that Undefeated Australian Boxer Jeff Horn will not be Senator Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent started circulating after the Filipino Boxing Champion announced, in his official twitter account that his fight against British Boxer Amir Khan is under negotiations.

Prior to this announcement, Pacquiao’s promoter, Top Rank Promotions top honcho Bob Arum, announced that the ‘Pambansang Kamao’ will be fighting against Jeff Horn in his upcoming fight this April at United Arab Emirates.

However, Pacquiao’s camp remained mum regarding Arum’s declaration.

Earlier this month, Pacquiao also released a poll in his social media account. In the said poll, he asked his followers to vote on who will be his next opponent.

Amir Khan led the poll by grabbing 48% of the votes, while Jeff Horn only got 7% of the votes.

Also included in the poll were Ezekiel Brook, known as the ‘World’s Best Welterweight’, and Undefeated American Boxer Terence Crawford.
