Vice President Leni Robredo only offered solutions in order to help the government combat the CoVid19 pandemic.

This was Opposition Sen. Francis Pangilinan’s response to President Rodrigo Duterte’s statement advising the Vice President to refrain from adding fuel to the fire in connection with the government’s alleged failure to combat the ongoing pandemic.

Pangilinan said that Vice President Leni had no intention to castigate the government and instead even offered solutions because a lot of people are already getting sick, frontliners are tired and dying and people are losing their jobs.

Pangilinan added that it’s not the words of the Vice President that’s destroying President Duterte’s reputation but the failures and alleged corruption that continue to haunt his administration.

Prior to this, in a pre-taped speech of the President, he mentioned that Vice President Leni shouldn’t “add to the fire” because this will not help the country in solving the CoVid19 problem.
