The Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption (VACC) will be filing impeachment complaints against Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales anytime this week.
VACC will be filing impeachment raps against the Ombudsman for the cases involving the death of the 44 Special Action Force (SAF) troopers during the January 25, 2015 Mamasapano clash in Maguindanao.
President Duterte slammed Morales with practices of ‘selective justice’ in an attempt to protect her allies from graft charges, specifically the Php 10 billion Priority Development Assistance Fund scam of Senators Jinggoy Estrada, Ramon “Bong” Revilla, and Juan Ponce Enrile.
VACC will also be including Morales’ alleged betrayal of public trust due to ‘selective’ prosecution, her violation of the Constitution due to excessive delay or failure to hastily act on complaints, and betrayal of public trust due to sanctioning the filing of losing cases in order to allegedly protect former President Benigno Aquino III from his liability for the death of the SAF 44.
VACC founding Chairman Dante Jimenez and lawyer Pete Principe will be getting endorsements from several congressmen after the complaint is filed before the House of Representatives.
