National University Girls’ Volleyball team coach Raymund ‘Babes’ Castillo will replace Roger Gorayeb as head coach of the Lady Bulldogs.

Through their facebook page, NU confirmed that, starting next season of the UAAP, Castillo will be calling the shots for the university’s women’s volleyball team.

Prior to this, Gorayeb decided to resign as head coach of NU’s women’s volleyball team, due to his failure to bring the Lady Bulldogs to the semifinals of the previous two seasons of the UAAP.

Based on the school’s statement, NU expects Castillo is capable of sending the Lady Bulldogs to the Final Four of UAAP season 80.

Castillo is known for guiding the NU Juniors Spikers in winning three continuous championships of UAAP’s Girls’ Volleyball Tournament.
