Negros Occidental on red alert status for Undas


Authorities have raised the red alert status all over Negros Occidental, particularly Bacolod City, due to Oplan Kaluluwa and Oplan Biyaheng Ayos Undas 2017.

According to Inspector Charmae De Paz, spokesperson of the Negros Occidental Philippine National Police, police have been deployed and have placed assistance desks in all cemeteries, bus terminals, and ports in order to ensure the safety of the public.

The security of various public place were also reinforced by more than 100 police from Regional Office 6 in Bacolod City.

Meanwhile, Lt. Jimmy Vingno, commander of Coast Guard Bacolod Station, said that Oplan Biyaheng Ayos Undas will be implemented from Oct. 28 to Nov.5.
