Philippine National Police Spokesman Chief Supt. Dionardo Carlos said that as of 5pm, they have yet to receive reports of untoward incident in different cemeteries all over the metro.

However, Carlos added that they continue to be on red alert status and with their security coverage in the whole country.

Members of the PNP will continue to be deployed in different cemeteries tomorrow, November 2, as they expect more people to visit their departed loved ones.

In Metro Manila, National Capital Region Police Director Chief Supt. Oscar Albayalde said that more than 500 thousand people visited the Manila North Cemetery today.

Alabayalde believes that more than two million people would have visited the Manila North Cemetery if not for the heavy down pour the whole day.
