Navotas City has 2019 Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) vaccination sites that will accommodate walk-in members of the A4 Priority Group or the economic front-liners and uniformed personnel.
Navotas City mayor Tobias ‘Toby’ Tiangco explained on Monday, June 8, that the local government unit established walk-in vaccination sites for some people who lack access to internet or gadgets needed to avail online registration.
“Hindi naman talaga necessary yung mag-register online kasi may mga kasamahan tayo, may mga kababayan tayo naman silang capability, wala silang Android phone, wala silang Iphone,” Tiangco said during DZRH’s Metro Manila Ngayon.
“Pwede kayong mag-walk in sa ating mga walk-in sites kaya lang doon lang kayo pwedeng mag-walk in sa walk-in sites natin, at yung walk-in sites natin ay first come, first serve iyan,” he added.
Tiangco said that more members of the A1, A2, and A3 Priority Groups received their COVID-19 vaccine shot by walk-in appointment compared to those who register online for the vaccination rollout.
“Kaya lang yung walk-in, wala talagang assurance iyan. May limit iyan,” the mayor clarified.
