Senator Juan Ponce-Enrile will sure be bringing in new information as the Senate reopens the hearing on the Mamasapano incident.
Police Director Getulio Napenas, former chief of the Philippine National Police-Special Action Force and headed “Oplan Exodus”, believes that Enrile is aware of some information concerning the controversial case.
Napenas added that Enrile spent some time talking with officials who survived the said massacre at the PNP General Hospital.
Enrile was in hospital arrest at the PNP General Hospital before he was allowed to post bail and return to work in the Senate.
Even though Napenas favored the reopening of the Mamasapano incident investigation, the former Director General would rather want Senate to focus on having President Benigno Aquino III pay for what happened to the 44 members of the PNP-SAF.
