Sam Concepcion and Nadine Lustre, who happened to be friends in real life, will star in the upcoming Paul Basinilio dance film “Indak.”
The collaboration between the two was, later on, confirmed by Viva films via their Instagram account.
According to Basinilio, most of the numbers will be choreographed by G-Force as well as other dancers who’ve competed abroad. He also added that it will not be a “typical dance movie.”
The movie sees Nadine playing an island girl whose dance video goes viral. Sam’s character will chance upon the video and eventually meet the girl. They will join Indak Pilipinas, a dance group.
In a chance interview with Concepcion, he revealed that the core message of the film is for people to go beyond boundaries and overcome struggles in life.
“Indak” is set to conquer the big screens in the summer of 2019.
