More than Php 4 million worth of shabu seized during a buy-bust in Naga City

Police seized 31 plastic sachets containing suspected crystallized methamphetamine, locally known as shabu, during a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, September 3, in Naga City, Camarines Sur.

The narcotics weigh 700 grams and has estimated street value of Php 4.3 million.

Police Bicol Regional Office spokesperson PMaj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib said that they also arrested two suspects: Yuner Inda, a 39-year old resident of Quezon City, and Jamaica Dela Cruz, a 23-year old resident of Camarines Sur.

Law enforcers apprehended the suspects along J. Miranda St., near a civic center in Brgy. Balatas, Naga City after they received Php 50,000 from a police operative posing as a buyer.

The suspects face charges for violating Republic 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
