If you’re still reeling over the kiss of Sarawat and Tine on the finale of the Thai BL (Boys Love) hit series Still2gether, don’t worry because iWant and Dreamscape Entertainment got you covered.
On Monday, the streaming app announced via their social media accounts that more BL series dubbed in Tagalog will be streamed in the Philippines in the coming months.
Filipino fans will get to watch “Theory of Love”, “The Shipper”, “Dark Blue Kiss” and the upcoming drama “A Tale of Thousand Stars”.
In fact, as early as September 18, they will simultaneously stream the highly anticipated GMMTV series “Im Tee, Me Too”, starring three of Thailand’s most powerful BL couples, Singto Prachaya, Krist Perawat, Tawan Vihokratana, New Thitipoom, Jumpol Adulkittiporn and Gun Atthaphan.
Aside from these, “Come To Me” starring Singto and Ohm Perawat is already streaming for all Filipino fans of the two actors.
Dreamscape Entertainment sealed a deal with Thailand’s GMMTV to bring in some of their popular BL series to the Philippines.
Thanks to the sudden boom of Thailand BL series in the Philippines since the lockdown cause by the CoVid19 pandemic, local producers jumped in the bandwagon and also started producing local BL series, including “Hello Stranger” and “Gameboys.”
From what used to be a taboo in local mainstream media, yaoi or the BL genre is now slowly creating a niche in the Philippine entertainment industry.
