Malacañang on Friday said that salons and barbershops will soon be allowed to offer services other than haircuts.

Presidential spokesman Harry Roque on Friday said the Department of Trade and Industry will soon issue the guidelines that will govern the gradual resumption of other services provided by salons and barbershops.

“Yung mga pedicure, manicure antayin muna po ang guidelines bagamat in principle papayagan po yan antayin lang natin ang guidelines ng DTI,” he said.

They will be allowed to open at 30% operating capacity in areas under general community quarantine and at 50% operating capacity in areas under modified general community quarantine.
