Mon Confiado stars in three international films

Actor Mon Confiado is starring in not just one, but three international films this year!

On Instagram, Confiado shared stills for his upcoming foreign films, including a Korean movie titled “The Golden Holiday” under the direction of Kim Bong-han. The film is set to release in South Korea on August 16.

The story follows the first trip of a family to the Philippines that gets them embroiled in an investigation of a local murder case surrounding “Yamashita’s Gold.”

According to the actor, 80% of the movie was shot in the Philippines.

The 52-year-old actor was also cast in the American movie “Turncoat” with  Italian actress Annaluisa Capasa under the direction of Filipino-American indie filmmaker Marcial Chavez.

It follows the story of a man living a happy and quiet life with his Italian wife in LA when suddenly mysterious people told him he was a former hitman in Manila and charging that he is someone else for whom they’ve been looking.

Confiado’s third film, Dito (Koko), is a Japan-Philippines co-production. He will be playing the character of Sese, a Kamiyama’s boxing gym trainer. The family-drama-action film stars Takashi Yuki, also the director.

Mon is known for his iconic role as Emilio Aguinaldo in the historical films “Heneral Luna” and “Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral.”
